Managing Organisational Transitions

Are you organisationally ready and able to respond to community and sector changes?

When resources are tight how do you make the best use of your people and keep up with demand?

Are the changing roles and responsibilities of management and governance clearly understood as your organisation develops?

This is a workshop for small to medium community organisations, with a few staff, small budgets and a volunteer base which are needing to respond to issues and sector changes in effective ways.

Workshop       Tuesday 5th July 9.00 am to 3.00 pm

Venue:             Salvation Army, 389 Gladstone Rd, Gisborne

The workshop is facilitated by Judith McMorland (co-author with Ljiljana Eraković (2013) Stepping Through Transitions: Management, leadership and governance in not-for-profit organisations) and Hazel Hodgkin. To find out more please go to  www.cgotransitions.co.nz

Workshops are most effective if 2 or more people from your organisation attend (staff, board, and senior volunteers).

What will you learn?

  • easily applied tools and new ways of thinking about complexity and how to respond

  • an organisational perspective on the challenges of different stages of development

  • a clear understanding of how to make everyone’s role count towards effectiveness and sustainable growth
