Facing Organisational Challenges?
Recent sector challenges and stresses call for new tools and organisational approaches to managing, leading and governing in Not- for-Profit and Common Good Organisations.
CGO Transitions in partnership with IOSIS offer
a one-day Organisational Development workshop
Wednesday, 20 April 2016 9am - 4pm
Manurewa Baptist Church, 9 Lupton Rd, Manurewa
for staff, managers and board members in community organisations
Cost $90 per person or $250 for 3 people. Lunch provided, good parking.
Workshop facilitators Dr Judith McMorland and Ruby Duncan
Based on the CGO Development Model in McMorland and Eraković (2013) Stepping through transitions:
Management, leadership and governance in not-for-profit organisations, the workshop focuses
directly on your own situations. To get the most out the discussions, it is best if two or more
people from each organisation can attend – with a mix of staff, managers and board members. This
workshop is particularly suitable for community service provider organisations employing several
staff.
What will your organisation gain by participating?
• easily applied tools and new ways of thinking and resolving old problems
• opportunity to share different views and perspectives amongst management, staff and board
• an organisational perspective on the challenges of different stages of growth and complexity
and how to respond
• a clear understanding of changing work roles and relationships and how to make every role count
towards effectiveness and sustainable growth
For more information ring Judith 027 675 1718 or Ruby 027 455 5218. and to register for the
